Its 28 holes arranged in 7 columns × 4 rows each hold one 41472-36 ice tube and keep it vertical along its full length — no lean, no contact between tubes, consistent freezing guaranteed.

Working with a blast chiller means handling heavy loads in a sub-zero environment, often wearing gloves. The handles cut into both the front and rear faces of the holder allow a firm, secure grip even when fully loaded with 28 filled tubes. White PMMA: The Right Choice for Sub-Zero

Unlike the transparent PMMA used for counter displays, this holder uses white opaque PMMA — a reinforced version suited to the thermal demands of professional blast freezing. It withstands repeated cycles between ambient and sub-zero temperatures without weakening or deforming, and cleans easily at the end of production.

The Central Piece of the Paderno Ice Tube System

This holder is the central link between the 41472-36 mould and the 41472-34 counter display: fill the tubes, place the loaded holder in the blast chiller, wait — then transfer directly to the counter. The 12 cm height (versus 4.5 cm for the display) is deliberate: it stabilises the tubes along their full length during the critical freezing phase, where the lower, angled display is designed for presenting the finished product.
